Wavelength transmission

UV is blocked. Visible light passes through.

Light transmission by wavelength through 5 millimetre acrylic Between 200 and 400 nanometres, 99.2 percent of tested ultraviolet light was blocked. Transmission rises above the ultraviolet range so the acrylic remains clear.

Supplier inspection report dated 23 January 2026. Results apply to the tested 5 mm clear acrylic sample and may vary slightly between production batches.
